Mike the Headless Chicken Festival

An annual event held in Fruita, Colorado. New to 2024, they asked the community to participate in designing the official artwork. The poster contest had a theme of “Space Cowboy”, encouraging artist to showcase Fruita’s quirky personality and criteria requesting digital art to be used on festival merchandise, including t-shirts. Though I did not win the official contest, it was fun diving into Fruita’s quirkiness, filled with dinosaurs, the Colorado National Monument and none other than Mike the Headless Chicken himself.
